Located steps away from the main bloodline of Toronto, Yonge Street at the center of greater Toronto area in the midtown, Maplewood Academy is an independent school for students from Grade 9 to Grade 12, who will be nurtured according to the fundamental purpose of education in Maplewood Academy to become fascinating human beings who will be appraised for their excellence and spirit.
When Maplewood Academy was founded in the 2000s, I had already observed the education system in multiple countries and continents, and I concluded that the only meaningful education is one that develops the five aspects of human learning
experience, which I can list as the Five-I aspect, student’s independence, individualism, internationalism, interpersonalism, and integrity. We have always honored these aspirations since the beginning of the century by implementing unique multi-faceted
education of the mind, body, and spirit to students from across Canada and around the globe. Although times and people may change, same values endure—among them, a steadfast belief in the inherent value of human spirit and the intrinsic belief of
humanism.
At Maplewood Academy, we believe that education is not merely about acquiring knowledge, but about answering the indispensable call of responsibility—to prepare the next generation to be thoughtful, capable, and compassionate participants in an ever-evolving global landscape. Guided by this profound sense of duty, we commit ourselves to nurturing each student as a vital seed of the
