Thank you for your interest in Maplewood Academy.
We’re excited that you are considering joining our vibrant and inclusive learning community. Below you will find key information to help guide you through the application process.
Application Period:
Maplewood Academy accepts applications annually from September 1 to December 1 for entry the following academic year
Late Applications:
Applications submitted after the December 1 deadline will be considered as late applications and will require a non-refundable fee of $325. While we continue to review late applications on a rolling basis, priority is given to those submitted on time. Please note that all applications received after the deadline will automatically be placed on our waitlist, pending available space.
Applying to Grade 9-12 OSSD
Step 1: Submit the Online Application
Begin by completing the online application form. Your progress will be saved automatically, allowing you to exit and return at any time before submission. Once your application and payment have been successfully submitted, a confirmation page will appear, and a confirmation email will be sent to you. Please allow one business day for processing.
Step 2: Upload Required Documents
After your application has been processed, you will gain access to your personalized Applicant Checklist through the Maplewood Applicant Portal. Please upload the following documents as soon as they are available:
Final report cards from Previous School Years (E.g. June 2024 and June 2025)
The most recent progress or midterm report from the current school year (2024–2025)
A copy of the applicant’s passport or other government-issued photo identification
Completed Teacher Assessment Form (template available in the portal)
Step 3: Interview Notification
Selected candidates will be contacted for an interview. Notifications will be sent by January 31st, 2025, all late applicants can expect August 10th, 2025.

Applying to Grade 11-12 STEM Focused OSSD Program with AP Courses

Step 1: Contacting Maplewood Academy Enrollment Department
Begin by contacting MWA Enrollment office for possible vacancy. Once vacancy has been confirmed, you will be granted an opportunity to complete an AP Application Form. Complete the form, please allow up to three business days for processing the application.
Step 2: Upload Required Documents
After your application has been processed, you will gain access to your personalized Applicant Checklist through the Maplewood Applicant Portal. Please upload the following documents as soon as they are available:

Completed Advanced Placement Application Form (template available upon request.
Step 3: Interview Notification
Selected candidates will be contacted for a parent accompanied interview. Notifications will be sent by January 31st, 2025. Late applications do not apply.
